Still catching up with images from our Houston trip. This strange looking bird seen in Houston Hermann Park is, I think, a Swan Goose. These birds originate from Mongolia and China, but small populations of escapees seem to have now established them in the Americas.

As we discovered, they can make a very loud honking noise.
