Blue flowers en masse are popular in spring on both sides of the pond – bluebells in England, blue bonnets in Texas – and in many English gardens there is lots of blue muscari, or the similar blue lyriope in Texas.

We have similar blue flowers here we call lupines, much like the blue bonnets. Beautiful!!

Thanks for commenting, Carol. Yes I think bluebonnets are a sort of lupine. Of course., they are the state flower of Texas.
Lupins are also grown in English gardens, but not ours – slugs and snails love them…
