Blue Damselfly

There were several of these blue damselflies flitting about by the water at Huelgoat, Brittany.

The effects of the strong sunlight give such different effects that it is difficult to believe the photographs are of the same sort of insect.

This is a broad-winged damselfly, different from the narrower transparent wings of common UK damselflies. Is it a banded demoiselle?
